Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor Highways & Civil Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in earthworks, drainage, and road construction to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects across the highways and civil engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial aspects of civil engineering projects, with a focus on highways, earthworks, and drainage.

• Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations and variations.

• Ensure accurate cost forecasting, budget control, and risk management.

• Support site teams with contractual and commercial guidance.

• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QS or Senior QS within the civil engineering sector.

• Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, highways, and road construction.

• Excellent contractual knowledge (NEC/JCT).

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
