The Production Manager will report directly into the Operations Director and will form a crucial part of the leadership team. You will oversee the entire production process across site ensuring maximum levels of efficiency and driving performance across quality, cost, safety, delivery and people.

Michael Page is working with a Merseyside based FMCG Manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager. This growing organisation has a diverse range of products, manufactured to the highest possible quality standards and supplies to a broad range of customers including major retailers across the UK.
Description
The Production Manager will be responsible for driving efficiencies across site. They will work closely with Quality Engineering and Distribution to ensure the production plan is executed on time, in full and to the highest possible quality standards. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor and maintain production quality standards in line with company and customer expectations
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction strategies
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure HSE adhered to and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with the engineering and logistics teams to meet production goals
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team to achieve operational excellence
Profile
A successful Production Manager will possess a range of the following:
- Proven experience within the print/packaging manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Strength of character, drive and resilience
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with cross-functional teams
- A thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Accountability and able to work autonomously
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
- Experience working on a BRCGS regulated site
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range of 40000 to 50000 per annum plus comprehensive benefits package (discussed on application)
