Description

  • Prepare and manage detailed project budgets and cost plans.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  • Monitor project costs and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project profitability.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure timely delivery of work packages.
  • Conduct valuations and prepare accurate payment applications.
  • Provide support on dispute resolution and claims management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience in cost management within the property and construction industry, ideally affordable housing.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts such as JCT or NEC forms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost management.
  • A proactive approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines.
