We are seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy forecourt and convenience store. This role is ideal for someone with strong management skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be very hands on whilst also managing staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, handle customer inquiries, and drive sales through strategic marketing initiatives. The role would suit an experienced manager looking for a fresh challenge or someone looking to take that next step into management and more responsibilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations
- Ensure all safety regulations are met and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise staff, including scheduling, training, and development.
- Address customer service inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders.
- Handle financial transactions and oversee budgeting and financial planning.
- Schedule maintenance for station equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and boost sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing daily operations and supervising staff.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with financial transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to implement effective marketing strategies.
- Proficient in relevant software and technology for management and operations.
