Job Description

A leading organisation based in Felixstowe is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its team. This is a fully office-based position (with travel to visit customers as required) offering an excellent opportunity to drive growth and expand the company's customer base within the container logistics sector.

The Role

  • Develops and grows the existing customer base, with a strong focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Represents the company at client visits, meetings, and industry events.
  • Works closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer care.

The Candidate

  • Has proven commercial experience in the container logistics sector.
  • Demonstrates a track record of successful business development and account management.
  • Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Candidates who can bring existing business contacts or potential customers will be considered for an enhanced salary package.
