Futures are working with a leading manufacturing business with a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability. As part of their continued growth, we are looking to appoint a well rounded, personable receptionist

The Receptionist will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors, contractors, and clients. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Greet and check in visitors and contractors, ensuring site security and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue passes as required.
  • Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and handling correspondence.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting rooms, and coordinating refreshments when required.
  • Support office teams with administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ensure reception and common areas are tidy, professional, and welcoming at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is desirable.
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
