Accounts & Outsourcing Senior

CMA is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

What will the Accounts Senior role involve?

• Managing a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and individuals
• Preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders
• Preparing corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns
• Reviewing VAT returns and working with online accounting packages
• Supervising, training and reviewing work of semi-seniors and assistants
• Liaising with HMRC and attending client meetings
• Supporting the development of the team and assisting with advisory projects

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior vacancy:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or final stage studier
• Recent UK accountancy practice experience
• Strong technical grounding in accounts and tax compliance
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
• Confident using MS Office and cloud-based accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks
