A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Bourne End is seeking a passionate Art and Design Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role:

  • Teach engaging and imaginative Art and Design lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to support the diverse needs of all learners
  • Foster a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that nurtures creativity and artistic expression
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance student outcomes and contribute to curriculum development
  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour and actively promote student engagement in learning

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has proven experience teaching Art and Design at secondary level, particularly across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivers lessons with a flexible, creative, and inclusive approach that engages all learners
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and clear, effective communication skills
  • Open to long-term opportunities and committed to supporting student progress and achievement
