About the roleSC-cleared engineers to support with deskside laptop handovers for judicial staff. Each engineer will be responsible for completing handovers for approximately 40 judges across various UK regions.Tell me more, tell me more Our client is currently looking fora recruit in joining their current team, below are the job details for yourreference:You can also ask our friendlyrecruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00amtill 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location: Salford Quays - ManchesterWorking Hours: 09:00am to 5:30pmContract Duration: 3 MonthsRoles and Responsibilities:
- Perform deskside laptop handovers for judges, averaging 3 handovers per week
- Schedule appointments and attend centrally coordinated deployments
- Participate in 2-3 days of training on the handover process
- Shadow existing engineers during initial deployments
- Provide on-the-day configuration and support documentation
- Remain on-site during handovers (typically 2 hours), with flexibility for overruns
- Deploy laptops using trolleys and full toolkits across multiple locations
Other stuff we're potentially looking for:
- Active SC Clearance is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- A daily rate, in-scope IR35, of £ 19.38 (PAYE) OR £25.15 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
