Robert Half are seeking an AI Assurance Certification Specialist to join our dynamic client and play a pivotal role in delivering trusted AI assurance to our global customers.

About the Role

The AI Assurance Specialist will take charge of maintaining AI certification standards, ensuring compliance with emerging global AI regulations, and building trust in our AI solutions. A primary focus will be leading the implementation and upkeep of ISO/IEC 42001 certification for AI Management Systems while embedding AI governance, risk management, and lifecycle processes into our wider assurance framework.

You will act as the key contact for customer-facing assurance activities, including audits, RFIs, and RFPs, while staying aligned with cutting-edge global AI regulations such as the EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles, and NIST AI RMF. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with product, customer, and technology teams to strengthen our compliance posture and enhance adoption.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience delivering ISO certifications (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 27001, or similar standards).
• Strong knowledge of AI governance, risk management, and model lifecycle assurance frameworks.
• Familiarity with ISO 42001 requirements, including:
  • Data quality and governance.
  • Explainability, transparency, and human oversight in AI systems.
  • Incident handling and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with auditors, certification bodies, and customer assurance teams.
• Understanding of global AI regulation frameworks, such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI Principles.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional ability to produce and organize compliance documentation, policies, and audit evidence.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex AI topics for technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for audit and assurance management.
