A major UK PLC is looking to appoint a Senior Development Surveyor to drive forward a range of commercial development and redevelopment projects across its diverse national estate. This is a client-side role offering real responsibility, visibility at senior level, and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess development and value-add opportunities across a varied commercial portfolio.
• Lead projects from feasibility and business case through to planning, delivery, and completion.
• Manage external consultants including planners, architects, project managers, and agents.
• Prepare and present board papers, appraisals, and planning strategies.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including estates, legal, and finance teams.
• Support wider strategic initiatives around estate optimisation and portfolio growth.

About You:

• Proven experience in commercial property development either client-side or consultancy.
• Strong understanding of planning, development appraisals, and project delivery.
• Commercially astute with a proactive, hands-on approach to driving value.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at different stages.
• MRICS qualified or equivalent experience.
