Description

The Accounts Assistant's responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain accurate billing records, including generating invoices and processing adjustments.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Respond to queries from stakeholders regarding billing and payments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance team on process improvements.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department as needed.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A background in transactional accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience dealing with different month end procedures.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
