We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Lecturer to join our team at the South East London Campus. This role involves teaching students with varying abilities, from Entry Level 3 to Level 1, and contributing to the expansion and development of the department. This position offers the opportunity to inspire and support the next generation of skilled experts, helping individuals from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach students across a range of abilities from Entry Level 3 to Level 1 within the SEND curriculum.
- Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
- Inspire students using your industry experience, supporting their career and personal development.
- Play a key role in promoting SEND courses, participating in marketing events, and sharing experiences as a SEND Lecturer.
- Engage with students in a clear and confident manner, making learning accessible and engaging.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
- Qualified Further Education (FE) teacher, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate clearly and engage effectively with class groups.
- Efficient administration skills to maintain accurate student records.
