We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known, award-winning establishment in the beautiful Suffolk Countryside which has an excellent reputation for their fine food and service. This venue has been awarded numerous accolades for their achievements and is well regarded in the county for their level of service. They cater for a variety of clientele and local tourists, and have a highly regarded menu, which is accompanied by a regularly changing specials board. Wedding facilities are also on site for Guests and private dining options.
As Sous Chef you will be able to demonstrate a 1-2 Rosette level background, and have flair and originality to bring to the team. The ideal Sous Chef must be a competent all-rounder, able to cover all sections and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence and have knowledge of stock taking, GP's and hygiene legislation.
The ideal Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation, whilst being able to work in a team, they should also be confident in taking their own initiative. They will be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.
Due to location a car driver is essential as public transport will be a long and difficult journey. The venue can be easily accessed from Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and woodbridge.
