About the role

As a Technician 3 - Migration Support Engineer with expertise in IT Support/Public Sector, you will collaborate with our client's FLS TRG Department. You will be responsible for supporting the client's Migration Phase 2 - ELS project onsite.

• Shifts:Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
• Location: HMS Seahawk - Helston TR12 7RH.
• Start Date: 31-Oct-2025
• End Date: 16-Dec-2025
• Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)
• Working Hours: 09:00 AM - 17:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

• SC Clearance
• Support migration setup and refresh clinic preparation.
• Move devices from onsite storage to the refresh clinic as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
• Log into systems using provided devices under supervision.
• Refresh laptops according to project standards.
• Update the contractor's workflow management system accurately at each step.
• Seek guidance from the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager.
• Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings.
• Secure devices in the onsite storage location at the end of each day.

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• Experience in IT migration or refresh projects.
• Ability to follow structured instructions and work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in secure and regulated environments.

• An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £ 19.38 (PAYE) OR £25.15 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
• This role is fully onsite at the Helston location .
