The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Tutors to join our growing team in the St Helens area.
As a GCSE tutor, you'll play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects, including:
Maths
English Language & Literature
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
You'll deliver engaging and personalised lessons, helping students strengthen their knowledge and boost confidence in preparation for their GCSE exams.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants should have a strong understanding of SEN.

- Rate of pay - 30.00 per hour
- Hours - Flexible working hours available, dependent on student availability
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the GCSE Tutor:
- QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
- Be confident in delivering GCSE sessions
- Have recent Safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero's course
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
