Supervisor

About the Role
We re looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor / Working Foreman to join our clients team on a range of civil engineering projects in the Bristol area. This hands-on role involves overseeing site operations, leading teams on the ground, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside site operatives on civils projects, including earthworks, drainage, foundations, and road construction.
• Maintain daily site records, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to keep progress on track.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure health & safety compliance at all times.
• Liaise with site management, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain smooth site operations.
• Take an active role in achieving quality and productivity targets.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Site Supervisor on civil engineering or groundworks projects.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, earthworks, kerbing, and concrete works.
• Valid CSCS card (Gold or above preferred).
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence.
