The role of a Collection and Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne Van Driver) at DPD involves the following responsibilities:
- Collecting and delivering parcels in a 3.5 tonne van.
- Starting each shift at the depot by loading the vehicle.
- Following a planned route using a handheld device.
- Scanning and recording deliveries, obtaining proof of delivery, and handling collections.

- Maintaining clear communication, professional appearance, and care with parcels.
- Adhering to time management, route planning, and stamina requirements.
- Handling multi-drop rounds for vans, which often involve high daily stop counts.
