Multiskilled Engineer

Techniche Global is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading UK food manufacturer at their poultry processing site in West Bromwich on a permanent basis.

Salary: up to £49,000 per annum, paid weekly
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (Days: 6am 6pm; Nights: 6pm 6am) + Regular overtime opportunities
Location: West Bromwich

In this hands-on role, you ll be part of the site engineering team responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance. Your main duties will include responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines, and driving reliability improvements across fast-paced production lines.

Requirements:

• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent) or proven experience in a similar industrial maintenance role
• Strong electrical diagnostics and repair skills combined with mechanical expertise such as hydraulics, pneumatics, or fabrication
• Experience in food or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous
