• Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
• Location: Bristol or Swindon - hybrid but may consider more remote with office presence when needed
• Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Senior Paraplanner to join our team of Independent Financial Advisers. This role is crucial for ensuring that our firm complies with ESMA Guidelines and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and compliance procedures.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is relevant and compliant.
• Collate quantitative detailed information required to support recommendations.
• Discuss client objectives with advisers and prepare recommendations.
• Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet client-specific objectives.
• Prepare draft suitability reports for review and discussion.
• Implement recommendations, prepare suitability reports, and complete application or proposal forms as required.
• Review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, and risk profiles.
• Act as a main point of contact for client queries and arrange client meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product, legislative, and technical changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Financial Services as a Paraplanner.
• Detailed knowledge of compliance and T&C procedures including record keeping.
• Ability to hold the requisite technical knowledge for the role.
• Preferred qualifications: Diploma, Advanced Diploma/Chartered Status - CII or equivalent.
