Accounts Assistant

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Managing day-to-day financial processing, including invoicing, purchase ledger, payroll, pensions, expenses, bank reconciliations, and posting journals within Xero
• Supporting month-end close and associated reporting activities
• Processing new starter forms for payroll and HMRC purposes
• Reconciling bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, and accrued income on a quarterly basis
• Ensuring payroll data is accurate and submitted on time to the payroll provider

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments

• Hybrid working: 2-3 days from home per week
• 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 with service
