CNC Programmer

- Job Type: Temporary (3-6 months)
- Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday - Friday
- Hourly Rate: £15 - £19 (dependent on experience)
Join a leading engineering company during an exciting period of growth! We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to be part of our team in Nailsea. This role involves working on CNC Programming operations for precision plastic components used in industries like Aerospace and Defence.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Create and check CNC programs for new components using Fanuc.
- Set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Produce high-precision plastic components to correct tolerances and ensure right first-time cuts.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CNC milling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality components.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with wider CNC capabilities (e.g., turning) is desirable but not essential.
