SEN Primary Teacher - Specialist Independent School Location: Near Horley, SurreyContract: Full-Time Driving Licence Preferred
An independent specialist school in the Redhill area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their supportive and nurturing team. The school provides tailored education for children with a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to primary-aged pupils with EHCPs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individual learning plans
- Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Use creative approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEND frameworks
- A positive, resilient and empathetic approach
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is highly desirable due to the location and potential outreach responsibilities
