About the CompanyElevation Engineering & Manufacturing, a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, is working exclusively with a leading UK manufacturer in the aerospace sector. They're now seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their skilled team.

The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Sheet Metal Worker with experience in high-precision manufacturing. You'll produce components to strict aerospace standards, working from technical drawings and ensuring all products meet exacting specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out sheet metal assembly, riveting, drilling, pressing, and finishing operations

  • Use hand and air-powered tools safely and effectively

  • Work to tight tolerances and aerospace standards (NADCAP / AS9100)

  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and technique sheets

  • Complete maintenance checks and report issues promptly

  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in sheet metal and manual press work (essential)

  • Confident reading and following engineering documentation

  • Used to working to production targets

  • Aerospace or precision manufacturing background (preferred)

  • NVQ or qualification in engineering (desirable)

  • Knowledge of Lean / 5S principles

  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
