Hourly Rate: Up to £17.76 per hour

Your Role Will Include:

Empowering Young People
  • Deliver one-to-one support and coaching, creating tailored activity programmes that meet each young person's unique needs.
Building Independence
  • Help young residents learn essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining their tenancies.
Community Engagement
  • Support young people to engage with education, employment, and community opportunities to build connections and resilience.
Trauma-Informed Support
  • Provide compassionate, understanding support that reflects each young person's experiences and promotes emotional well-being.
Life Strategies
  • Encourage positive life choices and goal setting to help young people develop confidence and long-term stability.
Your Responsibilities
  • Support & Benefits: Help young people apply for and manage welfare benefits, ensuring financial security.
  • Property Management: Maintain high property standards, completing health & safety and maintenance checks regularly.
  • Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments and provide proactive support to manage arrears in line with policy.
  • Safeguarding: Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns, ensuring all actions follow organisational procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate support plans, risk assessments, and case notes to a professional standard.
Who You Are
  • Empathetic & Motivated: You're passionate about empowering young people to achieve independence.
  • Proactive & Reliable: Comfortable working independently, prioritising your workload effectively.
  • Knowledgeable: You understand safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
  • Experienced: Background in housing support, youth work, or social care is highly desirable.
  • Driver (Preferred): Ability to travel locally if needed.
