Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2 - Onsite Deployment Engineer!

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Deployment Engineer to support a device refresh project. This is a hands-on role involving laptop setup, configuration, and user support in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Location: Bristol (BS34 7QA)
Daily Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.54(PAYE) OR £18.87 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
Contract Length: 6.5 weeks (17th Nov 2025 - 2nd Jan 2026)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform device refresh tasks including unpacking, setup, configuration, and deployment
• Execute device build and wipe tasks, and report DOA/faulty devices
• Provide build completion updates to the Deployment Manager
• Update the Asset Management Database (AMDB)
• Support peripherals including printers, scanners, wireless networks, and VPNs
• Manage IT equipment IMACD (Install/Move/Add/Change/Disposal) including data wipe and end-of-life support
• Track and resolve incidents and service requests via the client's ticketing system

Key Requirements

• Experience in corporate IT environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
• Ability to manage laptop and device handover across multiple users and sites
• Familiarity with asset management systems and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders
