EYFS Teaching Assistant

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to create a stimulating and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. You'll support children through engaging activities, help develop key early learning skills, and promote curiosity, independence, and confidence.

• Support children's learning through play and planned activities.

• Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and group sessions.

• Observe and record children's progress, sharing feedback with the class teacher or room leader.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

• Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.

• Work collaboratively as part of a caring, professional team.

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (or equivalent).

• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.

• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
