As the Financial Accounts Controller, you will be responsible for a variety of key financial tasks, including:

• Ensuring timely and accurate group reporting in the company's financial systems
• Optimizing supplier payments to protect the company's cash flow
• Supporting the statutory account production process
• Assisting with month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Implementing and maintaining robust accounting procedures and internal controls

The ideal candidate for this Financial Accounts Controller role will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage and SAP
• Working knowledge of the company's financial reporting systems (Opera and BFC)
• Qualified or part-qualified UK accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent
• Proven experience in accrual management and month-end closing processes
