About the Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature, language, and creative expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that meet the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to help students achieve their potential.
- Contribute to the wider English department and whole-school initiatives.
- Participate in CPD, staff meetings, and school events.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
