Are you an experienced Tutor who thrives on helping young people reach their potential? We're looking for passionate individuals to provide personalised tuition to learners with a wide range of needs, from Primary age through to Post-16.
This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work part-time or full-time during school hours (Monday to Friday). You'll be delivering bespoke sessions in English and Maths, tailored to each learner's unique profile.
Who You'll Be Supporting: Our learners may have a variety of needs, including:
- Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
- Autism (ASD), ADHD, PDA
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Global Learning Delay
- Trauma and medical conditions
As a Tutor, you will: - Plan and deliver engaging, personalised English and Maths sessions.
- Support learners with a broad spectrum of additional needs.
- Adapt your teaching style to suit individual learning goals and challenges.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with learners and their families.
- Maintain professional standards and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
- Experience of working with learners with SEN
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
