Commercial Heating Engineer

Commercial Heating Engineer - RAF Sites (Oil, Gas & LPG) Locations: IP27, IP28 & IP26 Hours: Full-time, Permanent 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri) On-call rota: 1 in 6/7 Salary: £42,000-£44,000 DOEWe're hiring a Commercial Heating Engineer to support RAF sites across Suffolk. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing oil, gas, and LPG boiler systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and energy efficiency across plant rooms and heating infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Planned and reactive maintenance of boiler systems
• Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs
• Supervising contractors and maintaining plant rooms
• Ensuring compliance with safety and energy regulations
• Using digital systems for task management and self-scheduling

? Requirements:

• Mechanical/Engineering qualification (HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Gas Safe registered
• Proven experience with commercial heating systems
• Knowledge of LPG, HVAC, BMS, and electrical isolation (desirable)
• Must be able to obtain DBS & SC clearance
