  • Adoption Specialist: Deliver technical work to meet all statutory adoption standards, focusing on key agreements like S278 (Highways Improvements), S38 (Road Adoption), and S104 (Drainage).

  • Project Support: Contribute to schemes from the initial planning and feasibility stages through to the detailed design phase.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery and approvals.

Your Professional Profile

We are looking for a motivated engineer who is ready to consolidate their expertise and drive projects forward.

Essential Skills & Expertise:
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

  • 4+ years of demonstrable design experience within a UK consultancy environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of highway design, drainage strategies, and earthworks principles.

  • Proficiency with relevant design standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, and local adoption processes.

  • Skilled in key design software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D (or Site 3D), and hydraulic modelling packages (e.g., Flow or MicroDrainage).

  • Excellent communication and professional problem-solving skills.

Why Choose This Opportunity?

Join a consultancy where your contribution is valued and your career trajectory is clearly defined. This firm fosters a positive, high-achieving environment.

Benefits & Culture:
  • Hybrid Working Model: Enjoy a flexible balance between remote and office work.

  • Competitive Package: Receive a competitive salary package reflective of your experience level.

  • Career Progression: Benefit from a clear structure for professional development, including support for Chartership (ICE/CIHT).

  • Varied Workload: Engage with a diverse project portfolio spanning high-quality residential and commercial sectors.

  • Supportive Team: Work within a collaborative environment where mentoring and continuous learning are encouraged.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to progress their career and lead impactful projects across Leicestershire.
