Description

As Financial Accountant, you'll play a hands-on role in monthly and group reporting, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and consolidating monthly group reports and management packs.
  • Performing analytical reviews of budgets, forecasts, and actual results.
  • Supporting business partners and department heads in understanding performance and cost drivers.
  • Contributing to the group's forecasting and planning processes.
  • Assisting with audit preparation, strengthening internal financial controls, and identifying potential risks or opportunities.
  • Leading on aspects of integration for newly acquired businesses.
  • Supporting group statutory reporting, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Getting involved in projects to improve systems and reporting processes across the finance function

Profile

We're looking for a motivated, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in a similar reporting or management accounting role.
  • Finalist ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Confident communication and business partnering ability across different levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive and curious mindset.
  • Experience within a large, multi-site or manufacturing organisation would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI would be advantageous but not essential.
