Key experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 10 years within Sales & Trading or Financial Markets environments with a minimum of 5 years in senior portfolio management or strategy roles.
  • Proven track record managing complex financial portfolios involving capital markets products such as FX, fixed income instruments, money markets transactions, derivatives contracts, or structured solutions.
  • Deep understanding of capital dynamics including liquidity management principles as well as market risk assessment methodologies relevant to regulated banking environments.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams effectively while nurturing collaborative relationships across diverse functional areas including Risk Management, Finance Operations, Compliance units.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to engage executive sponsors constructively throughout project lifecycles while promoting shared accountability for results.
  • Experience implementing remediation or optimisation initiatives within highly regulated settings where compliance is paramount for reputational protection.
