Management Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant who s passionate about numbers, process improvement, and supporting operational success. You ll play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy across the business, working closely with both the finance and production teams to keep records up to date and processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and authorise purchase invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments
• Maintain accurate supplier records and raise purchase orders for materials and services
• Record daily bank transactions and complete regular reconciliations
• Match invoices to goods received and liaise with the production team to resolve queries
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist with month-end reporting
• Manage staff expenses and petty cash transactions
• Support credit control and customer invoicing, ensuring prompt payments
• Assist with stock and cost reporting to help track manufacturing performance

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience or study in finance or accounting (AAT qualification desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations
• Confident communicator, able to work with suppliers, customers, and colleagues across departments
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to the success of a growing manufacturing business
