Description

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain financial data confidentiality and integrity at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Profile

A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:

  • Experience working within the Accounting & Finance field.
  • Part time hours to suit - maybe to fit in with school drop offs and pick ups so ideally reduced hours 5 days a week.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
