Description
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain financial data confidentiality and integrity at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
- Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Profile
A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:
- Experience working within the Accounting & Finance field.
- Part time hours to suit - maybe to fit in with school drop offs and pick ups so ideally reduced hours 5 days a week.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
