The Role and About You

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our day shift train cleaning team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the highest cleanliness standards through Full & Deep Cleans before trains return to service, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for thousands of passengers. You will be responsible for deep cleaning, which includes meticulous interior cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting all surfaces, cleaning upholstery, and performing touchpoint sanitization. You will be working as part of the cleaning team at Eastcroft Depot, Nottingham.

Key details:

This position is based on a fixed, compressed shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance and a reliable routine.

The shift pattern consists of four days on of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - with Monday as an optional overtime shift with the hours of work being 6:00 am 14:30 pm although there will be requirements to work up until 16:00pm upon management s request.

The pay rate for the Day Shift Train Cleaner position is £13.16 per hour.

The position will begin with an initial 4 6-week period at Nottingham Station, during which you will receive support to obtain your Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
