Commercial Finance Manager - RTW & Supply Chain
Location: London (4 x days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Our client is a globally renowned luxury fashion house, celebrated for their craftsmanship, innovation, and timeless design. As they continue to evolve and expand, they are seeking a commercially astute and analytically driven Finance Manager to join their Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and Supply Chain team.
The Role
As a key member of our Finance function, you will provide strategic financial and commercial support to our RTW Unit and Supply Chain Leads. You'll play a pivotal role in driving margin improvement, cost efficiency, and investment decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted partnerships with RTW and Supply Chain leaders, delivering insightful analysis with a strong commercial lens.
- Lead product costing guidance across seasonal forecasts, budgets, and 3-year planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage margins and support related initiatives.
- Drive improved control and reduction of raw material excess (RMX) through process optimisation and collaboration.
- Produce and monitor procurement budgets and RMX utilisation targets.
- Manage Group-level RMX provisions, including actuals and forecasts.
- Ensure financial rigour in investment decisions and track savings projects to margin impact.
- Contribute to strategic margin initiatives, including cost efficiency and investment projects.
Required Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within a retail or fashion environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Supply Chain Finance experience is advantageous but not essential.
