An IT consultancy specialising in providing data-driven solutions in the supply chain sector is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with colleagues to ensure IT architectural designs meet strategic goals and project-specific requirements. The Solutions Architect will have proven experience developing solutions to business issues and problems and will have a strong understanding of cloud-native design, integration patterns, and architectural frameworks. Additionally, you will have experience working with a major cloud platform and a background in software engineering, infrastructure, or systems design.

 Key Responsibilities:
  - Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners
- Work across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring architectural consistency and alignment with enterprise standards
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to delivery and transition
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical challenges
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Support the development of architectural governance and documentation standards
- Support day-to-day operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when required
- Provide general administrative and practical support 
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain a proactive and dependable approach 
- Travel to customer sites and other locations when required
 
 Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
 Essential: 
  - Proven experience as a Solution Architect across multiple technology domains and projects
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, integration patterns, and cloud-native design
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation constraints
- Background in software engineering, infrastructure, or systems design
 
 Desirable:
  - Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect)
 
 Salary: £75,000 to £95,000 DOE
