Job Description:
We're seeking a passionate and skilled Java Engineer to join our dynamic team working on high-impact ITSA quarterly releases. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing and strategically important service within a secure and fast-paced environment.
As part of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust microservices using modern Java frameworks. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions that support live services.
Please note: Due to the nature of the work, SC Clearance is required to participate in ITSD Live Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable Java-based microservices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineers to deliver quarterly ITSA releases.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to deployment and monitoring strategies using container orchestration tools.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (including Spring Boot).
- Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and Swagger for API documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting, SQL, and working with MongoDB.

Security Clearance
