Description
- To continually monitor proposed changes in legislation both in the EU and UK that may effect our purchasing.
- Oversee all print and bespoke orders, ensuring accuracy, quality and a timely delivery
- To oversee the NPD process
- To meet with supply chain staff and buyers from key customers where compliance is key
- To review process improvement, particularly using technology to improve accuracy and Efficiency
- To report on a range of metrics, vendor performance, cost savings to improve performance
- To visit suppliers and to be able to conduct basic factory audits and assessments.
- To work closely with the Head of Operations and support him where needed
Profile
A successful Compliance Manager should have:
- Experience in compliance roles across the EU and global markets .
- Experience in international compliance and sustainability
- Attention to detail - the role requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure pricing, stocks and compliance are all managed effectively
- Analytical thinking and numeracy - the ability to analyse data, assess risk, identify opportunities for improvement
- Knowledge of Legislation and the compliance relevant to packaging
- People Skills- to work closely with internal teams
- Team Player - to work effectively as part of a team
