Responsibilities of a Care Coordinator:
- Dealing with all inbound calls and email enquiries
- Working as part of a team to promptly meet the needs of the client
- Liaising with multiple departments to find solutions for all client account management matters
- Using your initiative to fulfil and exceed client expectations and deliver excellent customer service
- Building and maintaining a relationship with the clients to best support them
- Identifying clinicians suitable for work placements and proactively reaching out to them with outbound calls
- Take ownership of the shift handover process with clarity and accountability.
Skills needed for a Care Coordinator:
- Exceptional Communication - written, verbal, and interpersonal
- 2+ years in healthcare or social care sector (preferred)
- Strong organisation and time management
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Resilience under pressure; thrives in fast paced settings
- Comfortable with ambiguity and takes initiative
- High emotional intelligence and empathetic leadership
- Business acumen and understanding of service dynamics
- Ability to hold self and others accountable with compassion
