This is a hybrid role after passing probation, working 3 days per week in the Bethnal Green, East London office and 2 days working from home.
What You'll Be Doing
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, including processing invoices, receipts, payments and journals
- Supporting VAT returns, bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Assisting with cashflow, forecasting and management reporting
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to resolve finance queries quickly and professionally
- Supporting credit control and debtor management
- Assisting with tour finance admin, basic withholding tax documents and client reporting
- Preparing information for personal tax returns and responding to HMRC queries
What You Need
- Experience in bookkeeping / accounts assistant / finance admin role
- AAT Level 2-3 (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping principles and ledger processes
- Confident using Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Payroll/pensions knowledge useful, but not essential
- Ideally you have already worked within music, entertainment, television or other creative organisation
