HR Advisor - Permanent
Location: Cambridgeshire area

Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week on-site
We're supporting a growing FMCG business in recruiting an HR Advisor to join their established People team. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys partnering with managers, driving best practice, and thriving in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees across the business.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Manage a range of employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring compliance with policy and employment law.
- Support performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes, offering clear advice and guidance to managers.
- Lead onboarding and offboarding activity, including inductions and exit interviews.
- Contribute to HR projects such as engagement, culture, change initiatives and development programmes.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support data and reporting to influence people's decisions.
About You
- Strong understanding of HR processes, UK employment law and best practice.
- Confident in managing ER cases and advising managers.
- Resilient, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in HR generalist or advisory roles, ideally within FMCG or a similar fast-moving setting.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards/equivalent experience).
- Able to build credibility quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
