General Assistant

Location: Folkestone

Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour

Contract: term-time only

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our school kitchen team in Folkestone. You will play a key role in supporting the catering service, ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard in a safe and welcoming environment.

• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash up and manage kitchen equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Enhanced DBS check required (we can assist with the application if needed).

• Competitive hourly rate of 12.21.
