Waste and Recycling Officer

Waste & Recycling Officer required to work with leading Cannock/ Staffordshire based local council.

My client is looking for an experienced and professional Waste & Recycling Officer to join their Waste and Commercial Services division on a permanent contract.

This role is tasked with overseeing their Waste & Recycling functions as part of a multi disciplined team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar public or private sector environment. You will have great knowledge and hands on experience within the waste and recycling industry.

Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills are required, as part of the role will include electronic data recording, analysis and report writing.

You will need good interpersonal skills and be able to work part of a team. The role will include communicating with the public, elected members and council executives over the phone and face to face.

Ideally you will have relevant professional body accreditations, CIWM.

Whats on offer:

Salary: 28,142 - 31,022 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 37 per week
