  • Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver
    Location: Thetford Working Hours (PM Shift) Shift Monday - Thursday Friday
    Morning Shift 6.45am- 3 PM 6.45 - 2 PM
    Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
    Pay Rate: £12.48 - £13.50 per hour
    Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced and dependable Counterbalance Forklift Driver (PM Shift) to join a leading manufacturing facility in Thetford, specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality cleaning products. This hands-on position is ideal for someone confident operating a counterbalance forklift, supporting efficient production flow, and maintaining safe and accurate handling of goods. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering weekly pay, full training, and long-term career potential within a supportive and modern working environment. Key Responsibilities
    • Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging
    • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe stacking and storage of products
    • Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner
    • Maintain accurate stock movement and documentation
    • Carry out basic equipment checks and report faults promptly
    • Support packing and palletising when required
    • Adhere to all health and safety and site operating procedures
    • Maintain a clean and organised work area
    • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production and dispatch targets
    Requirements
    • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) - essential
    • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or production environment
    • Confident with stock handling, loading, and pallet management
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
    • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts
    • Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
