Location: Tameside

Pay: 120- 140 per day, depending on experience

Start Date: 05/01/2026

Are you an experienced, unqualified teacher looking for a new role in January. We are currently working with a PRU, looking to recruit an Outreach Teacher to support pupils in their homes.

The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). You will be responsible for delivering Foundation English and Maths as part of the school's Outreach Programme.

As a Outreach Teacher, you will:

  • Build rapport with pupils, offering both emotional and academic guidance
  • Deliver informative and engaging lessons in line with the Foundation curriculum
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to monitor progress

What We are Looking For:

  • A full UK driving license and access to a car
  • Previous experience supporting SEMH
  • Knowledge of the curriculum
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
