NHS Band 2 Data Entry Clerk
Location: Gateway, Belfast
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Rate of pay - 12.21 per hour
Hours - Monday to Friday 9 until 5pm
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated administrative team. In this role, you will support essential patient and departmental data processes that help ensure the smooth running of our services. You will accurately input, update, and maintain information on NHS systems, contributing to safe and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Input data accurately and in a timely manner across multiple NHS systems.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with NHS data protection and information governance policies.
- Check and verify information for accuracy and consistency.
- Support colleagues with administrative and clerical duties when required.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff to resolve data queries.
About You
- Proficient in using computers and standard office software (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases).
- Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous data entry or administrative experience in a healthcare or office setting is desirable, though not essential as full training will be provided.
