Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable HR Advisor to support and manage HR functions within the industrial/manufacturing industry. This role is based in Huddersfield and requires expertise in HR practices and Employee Relations to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Description

  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes for staff.
  • Collaborate with management to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A solid understanding of HR policies and employment legislation.
  • Previous experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from GBP 42,000 to GBP 45,000.
  • Permanent position based in Huddersfield 4 days site based 1 day WFH
